This program would not be possible without the help of our many sponsors. The competition is a self funding activity supported through generous monetary and materials donations from alpaca farms, affiliated organizations and businesses who believe in the mission of the Student Design Competition.  For the 2008-2009 Competition, donations included full monetary funding for the scholarship and awards program. Additionally 20,000 yards of yarn,15 pounds of  roving and 10 yards of  fabric were donated to send participationg schools for use in student entries and curriculum studies at 45 college level institutions in North America. Any donation, large or small, contributes to the success of the AOBA Student Design Compeition.
